About The Project

European Culture  through Art and Research is a program that seeks a new way of learning the local Cultural History of the European places involved. Pupils will be young researchers who will try to re- discover the cultural treasures of their town, get valuable details of local history down, take photos of historic buildings, interview people of culture or people responsible for preserving the culture and also create events and products (newspapers, magazines, films e.t.c.). These activities will give the opportunity to every  partner to make a cultural spot in  mind and heart about the other partners' place. This chain of activities is expected to enhance students' observation ability, advance their English language skills, raise their self esteem, and last but not least, promote European identity not only by getting to know other cultures and history but also by learning how to respect them.  All the above mentioned tasks will  be presented in each town, school and local community. A united product, as a cultural mosaic of all towns, will be the capstone of the program.
